Description: Porsche have announced that they have once again continued to meet the high standards required of them in the USA and their vehicles (including the 911) are of the highest quality. The USA is the largest export market for Porsche and it is no surprise that the companies excellent quality control and attention to detail have paid dividends. The "Vehicle Dependability Study" conducted by a US market research company known as J.D. Power revealed its results recently, and Porsche were ranked number one amongst all competitors thanks to over 52,000 comments from satisfied Porsche and 911 owners across one of the largest nations on the planet. The "Vehicle Dependability Study" quizzed people who own Porsche and 911 cars that were 3 years old. A series of questions were asked regarding reliability in the last twelve months and Porsche came out on top by a large margin. Michael Macht, Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, stated, "We are very pleased to be ranked number one with regard to dependability in the renowned J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study. This ranking is due to our consistent high-quality work and customer orientation, and is a testament to the hard work of Porsche's employees over the last few years. This award shows that our sustainability strategy is paying off. The challenge is not about achieving a high quality standard for the short term, but to assure such quality over a period of many years. The fact that we received this award reflects the satisfaction of Porsche customers with the quality of the used vehicle - and we are very proud of that."
